The Little Huson Caves are beautiful this time of year.  Bill and I enjoyed getting out to complete an 'earth cache' (a special location where geocachers can go and learn; reading and answering questions about a unique geoscience feature) on this crisp fall day. The day was too nice for yard work so...Bill and I rode out to Telegraph Cove.  The total trip from the highway turn off was just over 30 km's.  We took an hour there and back which is pretty impressive considering the hills we had to climb!!  Too bad we already found the geocache hidden at this pit stop; it was fun reading the entries though!  Telegraph cove is pretty quiet this time of year.

We picked Teuvo and his dish pan hands up from camp last weekend...5 weeks total, spent away from home.  Although he had a blast and met lots of great friends, Teuvo was glad to see his bed and eat 'real' fruit.  Setting a table for 3 rather than 300 seems like a cinch! Some family time was well over due so we drove to the West coast and camped at Gooding Cove for 3 nights.

Last day of grade 9...Yikes!  He's taller, more muscular, and can almost take his dad down(play fighting is a constant activity in our house these days!)Teuvo passed with A's and B's - we're so proud and he's so proud!July 10th Teuvo heads to summer camp for 2 weeks - maybe longer. Teuvo:  He's counting down the last days of jail(school) time.  He'll be physically done June18th but mentally...he's been finished for about a month. The neighbours across the street have hired Teuvo to do some gardening so he's been busy with that, making some extra money. Fire practise will wrap up this week.  The parents get to attend the last event where the jr's will go in to a 'burn house'
