Ginger Shortbread Wedges
1/2 Cup soft butter
1/3 Cup sugar
1 Tsp ground ginger
1 Cup four (enriched or whole wheat)
-Cream butter, sugar, and ginger
-Add flour
-Mix well
(dough will be crumbly)
-Press in to ungreased round pan
-Using a fork, prick score lines for portions
-Bake @ 325deg for 30-35 minutes (until edges are golden brown)
-Immediately cut in to wedges
-Cool in pan on wire rack
-Gently place plate over top of pan and flip the wedges out
