Day 24...Everything’s OK. What was the best moment that could serve as proof that everything is going to be alright? And how will you incorporate that discovery into the year ahead?

Our family has been through our fare share of tough times during this last year.  As a last resort, we cried out to God for His help and He answered...by miraculously placing just the right people along our path...in perfect  time! In perfect time, the Lord orchestrated events to take place that seemed to me, when thinking about it now... impossible!  Nobody(not even us), could have pulled off what the Lord accomplished.

From now on, I will spend less time crying and worrying; trying to figure everything out with the little wisdom I have!  I will go to the one who knows the perfect plan, provides the perfect solution, and has the perfect timing...hopefully sooner rather than later!

Day 17...Lesson Learned. What was the best thing you learned about yourself this past year? And how will you apply that lesson going forward?

'Fear' only has as much power as you give it!

Strive for a life of 'Authenticity' rather than perfection.

'Joy' is a choice!

There is always something to be 'Thankful' for.

We are 'Blessed' so we can be a 'Blessing!'

God's timing has been (and is) perfect!

Everyone just wants to be heard and accepted.

'Words' aren't always necessary!

When the sun shines...the housework can wait!

Being outside everyday is important; it gives me life...choose life!

I've made a heap of mistakes and need to quit beating myself up over them!
...time to move forward.

'Hiding' is what comes naturally but is never good.

'Something' is better than 'nothing.'

'Prayer' works!

Its OK to drop the to-do list!

Many lessons and reminders have come from 'journaling.'

What gives me life?  Spend your time there!

'Softness' opens many doors!

**Change begins with a genuine look, a decision, and of course...Prayer!**

Day 1... Word. Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you

C *H*A*N*G*E

Stuck, bored, lonely, repetitious, monotonous, moody, blah, and just plain bummed out pretty much described my location.   I came in to 2010 agonizing for change; in our home, in our marriage, in our family and for me personally.  I needed a change on so many levels, just thinking about it was an overwhelming thought dressed with a touch of sadness and defeat...where was I going to start and how was I to do all this work?  Was it even possible?

W*O*W

The changes that have taken place in spirit, mind, and body are overwhelming with me personally and with my family!(Life isn't perfect but it is better...it is healthier...it is more joyful)

On this day, God wants you to know...
Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right'.  Start where you are, work with whatever is at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

A*U*T*H*E*N*T*I*C*I*T*Y
is the word for 2011!
known to be real and genuine.
-Oxford English Dictionary

Rather than trying to be 'perfect'all the time... which the very thought of, freezes me in fear and causes me to walk like I'm walking on egg shells... I'd like to become more accepting of who I am and just be free to be myself...living more authentically.
