Day 1... Word. Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you

C *H*A*N*G*E

Stuck, bored, lonely, repetitious, monotonous, moody, blah, and just plain bummed out pretty much described my location.   I came in to 2010 agonizing for change; in our home, in our marriage, in our family and for me personally.  I needed a change on so many levels, just thinking about it was an overwhelming thought dressed with a touch of sadness and defeat...where was I going to start and how was I to do all this work?  Was it even possible?

W*O*W

The changes that have taken place in spirit, mind, and body are overwhelming with me personally and with my family!(Life isn't perfect but it is better...it is healthier...it is more joyful)

On this day, God wants you to know...
Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right'.  Start where you are, work with whatever is at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

A*U*T*H*E*N*T*I*C*I*T*Y
is the word for 2011!
known to be real and genuine.
-Oxford English Dictionary

Rather than trying to be 'perfect'all the time... which the very thought of, freezes me in fear and causes me to walk like I'm walking on egg shells... I'd like to become more accepting of who I am and just be free to be myself...living more authentically.
